Sustainability

“Sustainability” – a term used in such an inflationary way yet not recognized enough. To us, sustainable development is more than just a catchword.
We made it OUR MISSION and built our experience and success on seeing sustainability as a guiding principle in every aspect.

Our principles of sustainable development

MVW Lechtenberg & Partner is committed to a corporate culture where global challenges such as demographic or climate changes are managed effectively; not only with focus on the risk, but also on the possibilities and chances resulting in durable and profitable growth both for our customers and our company. We therefore have systems and processes at our disposal for sustainability-oriented business activities.

Protection

We contribute to a low-carbon economy. With our products and services, we establish a more sensitive handling of resources and a more effective use of available raw materials.

Through co-incineration of alternative fuels and raw materials the combustion of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil and gas can be substituted in the cement, lime and power generation plants. This in turn reduces the CO2-emissions and therefore represents an environment-friendly opportunity for waste recovery.

Long-term partnerships

Through specific measures and actions, high focus on the need of our customers and an active dialogue with various stakeholders, we develop and provide our customers with innovative solutions to cope with all local and global challenges they face. This helps us to ensure the development of a long-lasting and optimal relationship which achieves our main goal of both profitable and sustainable growth for all parties..

Raising awareness

In frequently published articles in (sector-related) magazines and most recently in MVW Lechtenberg's Co-Processing Magazine in addition to other scientific publications, Lechtenberg & Partner enhances the awareness of upcoming problems and offers environmentally and socially acceptable advice for local solutions. Additionally, we counteract “wild” landfills, mainly in developing and emerging economies, by demonstrating to local companies how to utilise parts of waste for their use and reduce cost at the same time.
